Tara - "lively and loves attention"

We purchased a pup from Mary last October for our two doughters. Before selling the pup Mary enquired about how we would hope to look after the pup and about previous experience with poodles. When she was satisfied that the pup was going to a suitable home she agreed to the sale. The pup was supplied with all paper work in order and enough food to last a week. Water was also supplied for the pup to drink during the five hour drive home. Mary has been in regular contact to enquire about the pup and to answer any questions that we might have had.

Tara is a lively pup and she loves attention. When we first got Tara she was well socialised and was not at all timid. She is a great companion for our daughters and she loves to play with them. She has been taken to agility training at K9Arc Animal Recreation Centre and has successfully completed the Bronze Level Certificate and is working towards the Silver.

I would have no reservation recommending Mary's pups.

All About Me

Hi! I’m a black miniature poodle called Sombra (which means shadow in Spanish because I’m that colour and I like to follow everyone around to see what’s going on!) and I’ll be two years old on December 18th 2007. I’m very lively and inquisitive and I love to play and go for walks, not just for walking but because I like to have a good sniff around! I’m a very friendly sociable dog who loves company and always wants to be included in family activities. I don’t like to be left alone for very long! I like to watch T.V. in the evenings lying on the back of the armchair and have some siestas in between but I will always jump up to say ‘hi’ to whoever comes into the house, no matter how sleepy! I’m a great watchdog, no need for any alarms with me around! Some of my favourite foods are cheese, eggs and chicken and when I’m well behaved a tiny doggie chocolate drop as a reward! I’m not just a pet but a part of the family, a very important one at that!

These well bred yorkies each with its own distinctive personality, Deano is a complete rogue and a right little scamp who loves getting up to mischief and gobbles his food while Chloe is a perfect lady who has delightful manners and will always scold Deano whenever he misbehaves. Family walks up the back road and on the beach have been transformed from something of a torture to a great few hours out of doors for all the family. Deano and Chloe will walk and run and yap for miles and miles and keep us entertained with their antics. They make the ideal family pet and are so economical to keep. They're not expensive to feed and only a few trips to the hair and beauty parlour keeps everything in order. But Deano and Chloe are definitely the best value we ever got for the children who absolutely adore their pets and because they are non shedding have the full freedom of the house."
